The release
Quinoa is a real Peruvian staple crop, and puffing it before folding it into the bar gives an audible crunch closer to a rice-crisp than a nut — a deliberate textural contrast against the smooth, honeyed Marañón Gold base. Orange zest is added fresh in each batch rather than as an extract, so the citrus oil stays genuinely bright rather than reading as candy-flavoring.
Our lowest cacao percentage, 60%, chosen specifically to let the honey and citrus notes lead rather than compete with a heavier dark-chocolate base.
